At Medica 2019 in Düsseldorf, high-end video technology producer EIZO demonstrated its video over IP solution CuratOR Alipe. The family of IP transceivers, which all have SigmaXG at their core, offers an answer to the growing demand of hospitals all over the world for high-resolution, lossless video in their operating rooms.
SigmaXG, and by extension CuratOR Alipe, utilizes the IP protocol to transmit the UHD video signals, as well as mouse, touch and keyboard control signals. Combined with the single fiber-optic cable, the easy integration and link-up with other rooms throughout (and even outside of) the hospital, the system offers the flexibility needed for video management in modern hospitals.
